www.flickr.com/photos/jaydaley http://www.flickr.com/photos/jaydaley/7842629440/in/photostream This was a shot taken from our last night in Qld looking over the astounding Brisbane City. This is actually the 2nd ever city scape shot I’ve taken behind, of-course, Sydney and I must admit – I like it. I spent 4 days away with 5 other terrific Sydney photographers on a trip organised by Tim Poulton, making our way, camera’s in hand, from Cairns – Brisbane. For the flight back I decided I would carry my laptop with me during the flight. I arrived back in Sydney and made my way to the baggage collection, collected my luggage and returned home via taxi. I arrived home to the horrifying realisation that, whilst I had my precious camera bag and suitcase, my laptop (with ALL of my trips photos) was sitting at carousel number 2 on-top of the cart rack where I’d placed it momentarily to pick up my bag. So… to the taxi driver who picked up the frantic guy earlier this week pleading for him to drive as fast as he humanly could to Sydney airport and to the Good Samaritan who handed a laptop case into the Virgin help desk. You’re both out there somewhere – thankyou and this one is for you!!
