GRANADILLA (Cáceres - Extremadura) Granadila is a village abandoned by the construction of a dam in the 50s. All farmland were under water, leaving only the town itself and the cemetery. Since 1980 is being renovated by students in summer camps. Once a year, its former inhabitants return in the All Saints' Day to honor their deceased relatives. They remember their stories walking down the streets abandoned and the destroyed houses, their homes. For one day, the lonely village regains his soul filled with an intense feeling of nostalgia and homesickness. Touching! Conmovedor.
