This is the second longest river in Italy, more of historic importance. It is also called, Fuime Tevere, arises in Monte Fiumaialo, flows through Rome to drain into the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is heavily silt laden and it's mouth has advanced 2 miles towards the sea since the ancient Roman times. The river was made famous by Horatius who kept the bridge in a battle against the Etruscans. We crossed over it while leaving Rome on our way to Pisa. Taken from a moving coach. **what a waste...after seeing it go all the way to 98.9 it get's shot down by an anonymous disliker to 98.3**

O Tiber, father Tiber...
